William Patrick “Bill” Parsons, 68, of 2863 Coopers Gap Rd., passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2017 at his residence.

A native of Uniontown, Pa., he was the son of the late George and Josephine Stoken Parsons and the husband of Sharon Rose Angeline Parsons who died Dec. 19, 2001. He was also preceded in death by his son, William Patrick Parsons, Jr.

He formerly resided in Davie, Fla., and upon retiring from the Broward County School Board where he had served as a truck driver, he moved to Mill Spring in 2004.

Being the last of his immediate family, he is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017 in the chapel of the Dean Whitmarsh Funeral Home in Fairchance, Pa.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Fairchance, Pa.

Burial will be Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Smithfield, Pa.
