Five Landrum varsity wrestlers emerged from this past weekend’s regional tournament at Chesnee High School as regional champions.

 They are as follows: Wrenn Pierce (138 pounds), Jacob Ridings (170 pounds), Paul Zimmerman (195 pounds), John Zimmerman (220 pounds) and Ismael Bravo (285 pounds).

 Those individuals will compete in the Feb. 17 and 18 Upper State Individual Tournament at Liberty High School, aiming to qualify for the state individual competition at Anderson CC on Feb. 24 and 25.
