On Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. the Tryon Garden Club historians and archivists, Mike McCue and Joy Soderquist, will present the program “Honoring the Tryon Garden Club’s Visionaries: Celebrating the 85th Anniversary of Pearson’s Falls.”
The program will be a brief “snap shot” of some of the early club visionaries that settled in the Tryon community. These remarkable community leaders shared their talents and passions toward the preservation and continued stewardship of the Tryon Garden Club’s Pearson’s Falls and Glen since 1931.
The meeting will be at FENCE and the public is welcome. Refreshments with a 1930s theme will be served at 1:30. The program will start promptly at 2 p.m.
FENCE, or Foothills Equestrian Nature Center, is located at 3381 Hunting Country Road, Tryon, N.C. Call 828-859-9021. Directions to FENCE can be found at fence.org.
