King Law hires five new attorneys

King Law is pleased to announce they have hired five new attorneys to join their legal team. The new lawyers will be working in King Law’s Rutherfordton, Columbus, Shelby and Charlotte, N.C. locations along with the Greer, S.C. location. 

Serving clients out of the Rutherfordton, N.C. office is Heather Burdette. Heather is a new associate with the firm practicing in the areas of family law, criminal law, civil litigation and estate planning. Burdette is a native of Bessemer City, N.C. and is a graduate of Western Carolina University and Charlotte School of Law.

Kassia Walker is the new associate working in the firm’s Columbus, N.C. office in Polk County. Her areas of practice include family law, criminal law, civil litigation and estate planning. Walker is a Cleveland County, N.C. native and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Asheville and Charlotte School of Law.

Kelsey Alcide has joined the firm’s Shelby, N.C. team as a new associate attorney.  Kelsey is a native of Fallston, N.C. and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Campbell University School of Law. Ms. Alcide’s areas of practice include family law, criminal law, employment law and estate planning. 

Serving clients from the Charlotte, N.C. office is Taylor Simmons. Taylor joins the team as a new associate attorney. Simmons’ practice includes personal injury, family law and criminal law. He is a native of Alabama, but moved to North Carolina at the age of 9.  He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Campbell School of Law.

Stefani Cudic joins the King Law legal team as an associate attorney in the Greer, S.C. office. Cudic comes to the firm with more than 13 years experience in the financial industry. She is a certified fraud examiner and a graduate of the Charleston School of Law. Stefani’s practice areas include family law, estate planning, civil litigation, regulatory compliance and immigration law.

King Law was established in 2002 by attorney Brian W. King in Rutherfordton, N.C.  The firm’s corporate office still remains in Rutherfordton, but the firm has expanded having nine locations across North Carolina and South Carolina. The legal team serves clients from locations in Rutherfordton, Columbus, Marion, Hickory, Charlotte, Gastonia and Shelby, N.C. and in Greer and Gaffney, S.C.
