Battle at the Border Shootout starts tomorrow

The tournament has been popular for high schools to play in across the size spectrum.
This year will be no different.
On the boys&squo; side of the brackets the tournament will have Fort Mill, Riverside, Spartanburg Christian Academy, Broome, Chapman, Polk County, Brevard and Landrum.
On the girls&squo; side of the brackets the tournament will have Fort Mill, Woodruff, East Rutherford, Blue Ridge, Boiling Springs, Spartanburg Christian Academy, Chesnee and Landrum.
&dquo;Everyone is equal and everyone can win the tournament,&dquo; Landrum coach and organizer Lyn Smith said. &dquo;We have a good balance of teams and it should be three days of exciting basketball. All the games will be close.&dquo;
The action will get kicked off at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning with Fort Mill and Woodruff.
Polk&squo;s boys will play Chapman at 5:30 p.m. Landrum girls will play Chesnee at 7 p.m.
Landrum&squo;s boys will play Brevard at 8:30 p.m.
