Columbus Fire Dept. report for June

During the month of June 2016, the Columbus Fire Department responded to 118 calls for service.

Calls included 54 medical calls, 10 fire alarms, three brush fires, five vehicle fires, one fuel spill/hazmat, three landing zone, five motor vehicle accidents with injuries, six motor vehicle accidents without injury, four tree down without power lines, eight stranded motorists, two public service calls, one smoke complaint, four fire alarms in the Tryon Fire Department response area, one hazmat/fuel spill in Tryon’s area, one fire alarm in Saluda’s fire district, five fire alarms in Green Creek’s fire district, one medical call in Mill Spring’s fire district, three fire alarms in Mill Spring’s district and one brush fire in Mill Spring’s district.
