Blues and jazz performer Daryle Ryce headlines the evening’s entertainment.

Low and slow will be the order of the day on Saturday, August 6 at FENCE (Main House), 3381 Hunting Country Rd.

The Blues, BBQ and Gumbeau fundraiser is to support the 2016 Tryon International Film Festival (TRIFF16). The soulful event will begin at 6 p.m. and simmer until 9 p.m.

A flavorful load of pork and chicken will begin cooking the night before by Tryon’s local grill master, Tim Wright, while Beau Menetre prepares his signature New Orleans Gumbeau!

Blues and jazz performer, Daryle Ryce, will be the evening’s entertainment. Ryce has been a musical favorite to the community for years, appearing solo at many benefits, including the highly acclaimed Nina Simone events.

A live auction is also on tap, offering local arts, crafts and jewelry to the highest bidder.

Advanced tickets can be purchased at www.tryon
internationalfilmfestival.com, The Nest Artisan Market in Landrum and La Bouteille in Tryon. Tickets will also be sold at the door, with all credit cards accepted.
