Event in Buncombe County to be co-hosted by SBTDC

Congressman Patrick McHenry (R, NC-10) will be hosting a Government Contracting and Exporting Workshop for local companies interested in selling to federal, state, and local government agencies on Tuesday, Aug. 9 from 2-4 p.m. The workshop will be co-hosted by the Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) and will be led by instructors Noah Robins and Georges Neuenschwander, both of the SBTDC.

Congressman McHenry will be in attendance for portions of the event and will be delivering remarks. The workshop can be especially useful for local craft brewers interested in expanding their customer base through hospitality related government contracting and exporting.

The workshop will be held at Western Carolina University Biltmore Park Campus, 28 Schenck Parkway, Suite 300, Asheville, NC 28803. Those interested in attending, can register at sbtdc.org or call 800-258-0862.
