Madeline Parsons Clas of Tryon, N.C. died July 9, 2016 in Pisgah National Forest.

She was born in Greenville, S.C. in 1954 to Colonel Clyde C. Parsons, USAF Ret. and Burl Parsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Greg Parsons.

She was the wife of Frederick Clas. The love and light of her life was her son Damion Neyrey (Fawna) of North Palm Beach, Fla.

She is survived by her sister Alice Parsons Wise (Stephen) of Beaufort and other relatives.

Madeline was a loving, nurturing woman and an accomplished equestrian. Her professional career included laboratory services sales and financial adviser.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
