Saluda Police Department report for June 2016

During the month of June 2016, the Saluda Police Department responded to 79 calls for service.

There were seven state citations, five city citations, 27 warnings, one accident, three larcenies, 15 welfare checks, four alarms and one open door.

Officers completed 1,675 business checks, 112 church checks, 102 house checks and patrolled 2,773 miles.

The Saluda Police Department also did a license check along Ozone Drive and Green River Cove Rd. with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the N.C. Highway Patrol that resulted in one driving while impaired charge, two driving without a license and one child restraint violation. Saluda also responded to one domestic disturbance calls, three animal control calls and five noise complaints.
