Polk sheriff’s office arrests man on multiple drug charges

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office recently arrested an area man on multiple drug
charges after discovering multiple types of narcotics in his car, including methamphetamine.
Jason Michael Jackson, 33, who had addresses for both 202 N. Laurel Ave., Landrum, S.C. and 60 Peach Ln., Mill Spring, N.C. was arrested and charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle to keep a controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and possession of a schedule VI controlled substance, according to sheriff’s office reports.
The arrest occurred on July 13 following the Polk County Sheriff’s Office PACE team concluding an investigation. Officers made a traffic stop of Jackson and made the arrest after finding the narcotics in his vehicle.
As of Monday, July 18, Jackson was still being held at the Polk County Jail under a $15,000 secured bond, according to the sheriff’s office.
