The #IAmSomebody Movement will be celebrating its one-year anniversary this Saturday, July 16.
The movement began on July 14, 2015 to help those dealing with mental illness. A large crowd gathered at Harmon Field last year to remember those who lost their battle with mental illness.
Saturday’s event will be held at Harmon Field in Tryon at 5 p.m. with everyone invited to attend.
The movement encourages, uplifts, inspires and motivates people by reminding them they are somebody.
Team #IAmSomebody will celebrate its one-year anniversary this Saturday with speakers, love and unity.
Community members are invited to bring a lawn chair and help celebrate a movement that simply reminds people, “They are somebody.”
