Saluda swears in new city clerk

The City of Saluda swore in newly hired city clerk Tola Ellis during its Monday, July 11 meeting. Ellis replaces former city clerk Robert O’Dell, who resigned last month. Ellis has experience and education in business, finance and human resources. She grew up in Landrum, has lived in Polk County and currently lives in Henderson County. Ellis began employment two weeks ago in Saluda and was sworn into office by Mayor Fred Baisden Monday night. (photo by Leah Justice)
