Hill to seek another term as sheriff

Polk County Sheriff Donald Hill has announced he will seek re-election in 2018. Polk County Sheriff’s Office Administrative Assistant Kim Pack made the announcement on June 28 through Facebook. Hill, a Democrat, has held the office since he was appointed sheriff in 2008, and then won the 2012 election. Hill then began his second term as sheriff after winning the 2014 election.
