Several of Dance Dynamics’ dancers were among performers at the first Lake Lure’s Got Talent Showcase. Performing along with very talented musicians, singers, gymnasts and other dancers, two Dance Dynamics’ soloists took top honors.
Bethany Smith, 10-year-old soloist, wowed the judges and the crowd with her tap routine “Dr Jazz,” coming away with the $150 first overall prize. Bethany has been a Dance Dynamics dancer for seven years. Taking second overall and the $75 prize, senior soloist Caitlyn Cooper impressed with her tap routine, “Groove.” Both routines were choreographed by Missy Fincher, instructor/owner Dance Dynamics, Tryon N.C., online at dancedynamicsnc.com.
