Tennis players of all levels, who wish to better their games are welcome to join the ninth annual Wolverine Tennis Camp instructed by Polk County head tennis coach Richard Davis, and held at the PCHS courts this week.
The camp is open to rising 5th graders through 12th graders. Davis invites players of beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Davis is covering all aspects of the game.
Five players were at camp on Monday, June 21. The three young men played among the top six slots for Polk’s men’s team in the spring, while the two young women will play for the Wolverines’ women’s squad this fall.
Camp hours are 9 a.m. through noon each day this week. Cost is $70 for the week, but newcomers will be charged a pro-rated fee.
