The next Pea Ridge community gathering will be held Thursday, June 9, at 7 p.m. in the community center.
Area residents and interested persons are cordially invited to attend and bring a churn of homemade ice cream. If you are unable to supply the ice cream, please bring toppings or fruits, desserts and beverage. Paperware will be provided. The center is located at 207 Big Level Road, three and a half miles east of Mill Spring, just off Highway 108.
William Conner will be guest speaker. He recently retired after 26 years in Rutherford County Department of Social Services, working with adults, families and children.
Reminders: You may bring your recyclables to the center any time all day Thursday, June 9, as the Polk County recycling containers will be located inside the tennis court fence for your drop-off. The truck will pick up later that day or early on Friday, June 10.
If you have questions, please call Daryl Hardin at 828-894-8376.
