Maggie Wilson Hagood, 85, of Sherwood Street, and wife of the late Harry Cleveland “Hal” Hagood, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at her home.
Born in Mill Spring, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Dock Britt Wilson and Gertrude Phillips Wilson.
Mrs. Hagood was formerly employed with Cato’s of Easley. She was a member of the Women’s American Legion Auxiliary and Easley Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two stepsons, Harry Cleveland “Hank” Hagood of Florida and Jack Hagood of Greenville; two step grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Wilson of Gaffney; and two sisters, Clara Godfrey (Robert R.) of Inman, and Rebecca Pierce (Bobby M.) of Landrum; a sister-in-law, Margaret B. Wilson of Tryon, N.C.; and a brother-in-law, Truman Pierce of Landrum.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Randy Taylor; sisters, Bessie Jane Wilson and Gail Pierce; and brothers, Joe L. Wilson and Norman R. Wilson.
A private graveside service will be held in Hagood Family Cemetery in Pickens with the Reverend Bobby M. Pierce officiating.
