Ann Helen Voyda

Ann Helen Voyda, 95, of Tryon, N.C. passed away Monday evening, Dec. 28, 2015 in White Oak Manor of Tryon, N.C.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Tessie Dabroski and widow of Ted Voyda who passed away in 1992. Mrs. Voyda was an active member of the Foothills Duplicate Bridge Club, loved life at Red Fox, was an avid reader, loved to travel, and sang with the “Carolines.” She was a member of the Congregational Church of Christ in Tryon, N.C.

Surviving are two daughters, Carol McCall (Mark) of Tryon, N.C. and Evelyn Nancy Voyda of Somerville, Mass.; one sister, Wanda Donahue of Wethersfield, Conn.; two grandchildren, Kevin Bruce McCall of Tryon, N.C. and Wendy Lee McCall of Carrboro, N.C.; three great-grandchildren, Katelin Annabelle McCall of Portland, Ore.; Amelia and Alaina McCall both of Landrum, S.C.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 in the Congregation Church of Christ, Tryon, NC with Rev. Bob Barrows officiating.

Memorials may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.

The family would like to thank the staff at White Manor of Tryon for the care given to Mrs. Voyda.
