Polk County Middle School students make anti-bullying buttons
Published 10:45 am Thursday, October 22, 2015
As part of a team building, classroom project, students in Denise Kennedy’s classes recently made buttons to go along with the Anti-Bullying Month theme of Be BRAVE. Students worked together to put the many pieces of the buttons together and made several options for PCMS students to buy during lunch recently. After making the buttons, Ms. Kennedy’s students took turns working lunches to sell to all students at PCMS. The money collected from this project will go toward more button projects throughout the year. Kyle Teft, Jeremy Edwards, Sasha Walker and Bianca Mowers work together to make buttons in Ms. Kennedy’s class at PCMS.
