Polk County District Court results for July 1

In Polk County District Court on July 1, 2015, with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 176 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Tina Franklin Belue was convicted of possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Belue was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

David S. Blackwell was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Blackwell was sentenced to 45 days in jail with credit and court costs.

Aleksandr Denega was convicted of speeding 116 mph in a 65 mph zone. Denega was fined $116 and court costs.

Rebecca Lynn Ellison was convicted of profane language highway. Ellison was fined $50 and court costs.

Donna Hauser was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Hauser was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Marqui Antowan Miller was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Miller was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.

Travis Lee Moore was convicted of two counts of probation violation. Moore’s probation was revoked.

Christina Lee Parris was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Parris was sentenced to 12 months supervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Audrey Leigh Rubendall was convicted of simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance, possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Rubendall was fined $50 and court costs.

Amy Marie Smith was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Smith was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 10 days in jail with credit, $1,200 in restitution, a $100 fine and court costs.

Robert Leweis Solesbee was convicted of obtaining property under false pretense and forgery of instrument. Solesbee was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, 45 days in jail with credit, restitution of $579, a $400 fine and court costs.

Patrice Lanet Stevens was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon. Stevens was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Timothy Michael Tafoya was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Tafoya was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
