Marvis E. Hall

Marvis Eleene Strohmeyer Hall, 99, of Columbus, N.C. passed away on July 4,
2015. She was the daughter of the late George Aumiller and Ella Margaret
Holler Strohmeyer and widow of Joseph Dudley Hall.

She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Wayne Hall (Brenda) and Joseph “Joe” Hall, Jr.
(Irene); three daughters, Fay Marie Searcy (Bobby), Lulu Walker (Walter) and
Inez Jackson (David); 16 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 14
great-great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Roy Strohmeyer, Jim Strohmeyer,
Fred Strohmeyer, Fay Bauler, Ray Strohmeyer, Everett Strohmeyer, Lyle
Strohmeyer, Raymond Strohmeyer and Lulu Williams Meinem.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at
Emmanuel Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Emmanuel Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Brian
Wilson, Rev. John Parker and Rev. Reid Cooper. Burial will be in Broad
River Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family is at the home of a daughter, Lulu Walker, 1075 Landrum Mill
Road, Campobello, S.C.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina
Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
