Elinor P. Libramento

Elinor Libramento, 77, of Tryon, N.C. passed away, Wednesday, June 17, 2015.

Born in New York, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rosalie Pospisil. She moved to Tryon, N.C. in 1992 from Bound Brook, N.J.

She was a member of Thermal Belt Unitarian Fellowship and the Daffy Jills Garden Club.

She sang with the Carolines. Her passions included family, and flower gardening. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members, including her mother and mother-in-law.

Elinor leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Grant Libramento; two sons, Steaven Libramento of Powder Springs, Ga. and Gilbert Libramento of  Haw River, N.C.; three daughters, Jeanna Williams of Forest City, N.C., Frances Libramento of Asheboro, N.C. and Maria Wilson of Greenwood, S.C. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, N.C. with Rev. Sally Beth Shore officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service Saturday at the funeral chapel.

Burial will be Monday, June 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, 4529 Moffitt Mill Rd. Ramseur, N.C. Friends are welcome to share condolences with the family graveside. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 3535 Pelham Road, Greenville, SC 29615.
