The members of the Green Blades Garden Club of Tryon are presenting their Decorator Showcase Tour of Homes, Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. This year’s tour will celebrate the club’s 43^rd year of presenting the finest homes in the area. This year will be something different as these homes have the touch of talented decorators of our area, as Designer Showcase Homes.
Tryon and the surrounding area of Landrum, Campobello and Columbus have always been a place of enchantment, charm and culture, and this year we are going to bring to you not only wonderful homes but the talent of the decorators that helped to make these five homes, each different in style, tantalizing for the eyes.
This will be a self-guided driving tour and you may visit any home on tour as you wish. Tickets will be available at many of area stores including Vines & Stuff and Down to Earth Garden Center in Tryon; in Columbus, The Flower Cottage; in Flat Rock, The Wrinkled Egg; and in Landrum, P J’s Fashions, Sissy’s and Expressions Florist. Tickets go on sale in March.
Proceeds from our tour will be used for Garden Club beautification projects and organizations the club supports including Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, Tryon Fine Arts Center decorations, Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry, and Steps to Hope Adopt a Family project and our Park on Trade.
