Polk County District Court results

During Polk County District Court on Jan. 7, 2015, with Judge Athena Brooks presiding,
148 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Alyssa May Blackbourn was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone.
Blackbourn was fined $50 and court costs.
Justis Cory Chavis was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Chavis was
sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served and court costs.
Sherry Lucinda Cyr was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled
substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cyr was sentenced to two days in jail
with credit for time served and court costs.
William John Dowd Jr. was convicted of impaired equipment. Dowd was fined $50 and
court costs.
Michael Harold Gifford was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation out of
county, level two driving while impaired and level one driving while impaired. Gifford
was sentenced to 45 days in jail with one day credit for probation violation; 36 months
supervised probation, 14 days in jail, a $200 fine and court costs for level two driving
while impaired and 36 months supervised probation, 30 days in jail, a $500 fine and court
costs for level one driving while impaired.
Howard Leon Hatmaker was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Hatmaker
was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a
$100 fine and court costs.
Gabriella Good Levine was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Levine
was fined $30 and court costs.
Amber McCarter Maeda was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Maeda
was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a
$100 fine and court costs.
Robert Vance McCraw was convicted of injury to real property. McCraw was
sentenced to eight days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.
Amanda Leigh Phelan was convicted of impaired equipment. Phelan was fined $40 and
court costs.
Robert Thomas Pruitt was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Pruitt
was fined $50 and court costs.
Damien Karl Reinhardt was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Reinhardt was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.
Stephanie Soltis-Bowen was convicted of harassing phone call. Soltis-Bowen was
sentenced to nine days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.
Tobby Wayne Tedder was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Tedder was
fined $90 and court costs.
Graham Lee Thrift was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Thrift was
fined $90 and court costs.
Veronica Elaine Woods was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Woods was
sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court
costs.
Daniel Littlejohn was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Littlejohn was
sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs. Gustavo A. Vacca was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Vacca was fined
$90 and court costs.
Gregory Darrell Kincade was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Kincade
was fined $30 and court costs.
Dana Feaster Carpenter was convicted of impaired equipment. Carpenter was fined $40
and court costs.
Eric J. Ward was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Ward was fined $20
and court costs.
