On Nov. 13, an appreciative and enthusiastic audience enjoyed a concert at Isothermal
Community College by the Foothills Music Club, Inc. 2014 scholarship winners. Music
included selections by Handel, Mozart, Saint-Saëns, and others, as well as an original piano
composition by one of the performers, Gabe Turner. The students demonstrated their musical
skills vocally, and on piano, violin, cello, and French horn. At the end of the program, the six
young musicians joined together to present a delightful arrangement of their own. Front row, left
