The Landrum boys cross country team made a third place finish at the state championships. The team was led by Caleb Bouwkamp, Ben Boatwright, Clay Knight, Blake Butler, and Robert Christie. The boys missed getting second place by only seven points, however third place marks the best placement the boys cross country team has had at state since the move from Class A to AA.

On Dec. 20, Caleb, together with the top cross country runners in the state, will relay run the Shrine Bowl game football from the Shriner’s Hospital in Greenville to Gibbs Stadium at Wofford College. Caleb is only the second runner in Landrum’s history to make the Shrine Bowl Run team.
