Amy Elizabeth Estes (Libby) Baer

Born in Atlanta, Ga., she later received a B.S. degree in elementary education from the University of Georgia in 1958 and&bsp; a master of science degree in school administration from the University of Akron in 1972.&bsp; She taught elementary education classes in San Diego, California, San Benito, Texas, Lexington, Ohio, and Tryon and Sunny View. Libby was an elementary school supervisor for the Richland County Schools in Ohio for 15 years. She also taught summer courses in elementary school teaching enrichments as an adjunct professor of education from Ashland University in Ohio.

Surviving are her husband, Burt Baer, two children, Karl Baer of Ashford, Conn. and Rebecca O&squo;Connor of Ball Ground, Ga. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Nick and Colin.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. on June 1 at the Poole Mills Park, Ball Ground, Georgia.
