During the week from Sept. 21 – 28, 2014, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 165 calls. There were four misdemeanor arrests made, six felony arrests, five citations issued, 20 civil papers and four criminal papers served. Officers completed 223 house checks, 315 church checks, 480 business checks, assisted the public nine times and patrolled 6,512 miles.
