J. B. Lawson

 

J. B. Lawson, 79, passed away July 30, 2014 at his home. He was the son of the late Lee and Dora Bell Knight Lawson and husband of Jean Gosnell.

He was of the Baptist faith and worked at Lyman Printing and Finishing.

In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Tracy Lawson and Timmy Lawson both of Campobello, Jerry Lawson (Tiffany) of Columbus; a daughter, Kim Lawson (Eric) of Campobello; a brother, Lee Lawson of Inman; a sister, Robbie Johnson of Moore; a special granddaughter, Kandra Lawson (Antonio), nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren and daughter-in-law- Regina Waldrop.

He was predeceased by a son, Barron Lawson. The family will receive friends 6 -8 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 at Petty Funeral Home chapel conducted by Rev. Tommy Turner and Tracy Lawson. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
