Dr. Jerry M. Russel (left) presented Leon Morgan (right) with a plaque which read:  A Special Commendation to Veteran and Commissioner Leon Morgan for outstanding service and support.  The award was presented at the Memorial Day Ceremony at the Saluda Veteran Park. Mr. Leon Morgan served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and is the owner of the M. A. Pace General Store and serves on the Saluda City Council.
