Carolina Camera Club members are preparing for their last two meetings before the summer recess. On Tuesday, May 20, Don Crow will be giving a demonstration, which includes a lightbox for flowers that come out looking translucent. Members who want to participate are encouraged to bring their cameras, an external flash, and a flower.
Also on the agenda is a discussion of the annual show, which will be held at the Tryon Fine Arts Center’s Gallery June 9 – July 9.
Members who plan to participate are asked to bring 4 – 5 images that they would like in the annual show on a flash drive for comments from club members. Space will probably be assigned at the May meeting. The annual show is the final meeting until September 2014.
At the end of the May meeting, there will be a planning meeting for the next camera club year. Active members are encouraged to attend this meeting.
