This year’s Gala will be held Sunday, May 25 from 4 – 8 p.m. at Tryon Estates. Plenty of food and drink will be available to satisfy anyone’s diet.
Heavy hors d’oeuvres are on the menu so people can meet each other and look at all the items available at the silent auction.
A live auction will also be conducted by Bill Jones and believe me, watching Bill in action alone is worth the price of admission.
At 7 p.m. I will begin naming silent auction winners along with the door prize, a $100 gift certificate to the La Strada restaurant in Lake Lure, a fantastic dining experience.
Once again our guest feature will be Joey, the amazing two legged, Chihuahua.  I will let my dear little friend speak for himself, but you can witness just how the Lennie’s fund is utilized.
Please fill up the dining room this year and ask friends to come along, my kids need you.  As far as I’m concerned it will be the best twenty dollars you’ve every spent.
