Edith Lapp Edwards, 84, of Columbus, NC, passed away April 21, 2014.  She was the daughter of the late Anna Lapp and wife of John Howard Edwards.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Kay Rice of
Green Creek, N.C. and Rita Sports (Pete) of Gowensville; six grandchildren,
John Maddox (Amy) of Charleston, Joseph Maddox (Rachelle) of Las Vegas, Nev.,
Rianne Wilkins (Chuck) of Inman, S.C., Michael Pulfer of Arkansas, Walker Sports (Denise) of Brigantine, N.J. and Sherri Fleck (Mike) of Richmond, Va.; eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; many loving in-laws, nieces and nephews; and special friends, Hazel & Lynn Morgan and family.
She was predeceased by two daughters, Kim Pulfer and Ann Edwards.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014 at
Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, N.C., 28722.
