The Mill Spring Agricultural Center will be rocking on Saturday, April 12 with musicians of all kinds at the Farm to Fork Supper.

Along with a fantastic meal including a local pig roast, salad, and fixings, the event promises to be a lot of fun, all in support of the Ag Center and its programs.

Music begins in the evening with Laylaa Raes and Living Dog, two local farmer musicians who will light up the evening with their songs of life, love, and what comes out of the ground and from the sky. Aaron Burdett of Saluda will take the ‘hay trailer’ stage later in the evening and guests can sit around bonfires listening to some of the finest Americana music around.

Burdett shares an intriguing perspective on the world around us, connections to places and people and the simple pleasures of life through his heartfelt thoughtfully crafted songs.

Building on the traditions of the finest performing songwriters, Burdett’s original Americana music blends folk-rock, bluegrass and blues into a new sound that’s at once totally original and also comfortingly familiar.

While no alcohol is served with the Farm to Fork Supper, Parker-Binns Vineyard, Mountain Brook Vineyard, and Overmountain Vineyard offer discounts on a glass or bottle to Farm to Fork ticket holders before or after the event.

Tickets are still available for the supper and are available at the Mill Spring Farm Store and online at polkcountyfarms.org.
