O.P. Earle gets “Pete the Cat” experience

Tuesday, Feb. 18 was a special day at O. P. Earle Elementary.

The school hosted one of their favorite authors, Eric Litwin. Litwin is the author of the first four Pete the Cat books.

Students in kindergarten through third grade were able to see his energetic presentation and to be introduced to his newest characters, the Nuts.

Ms. Vaughn a K4 teacher at OPE dressed as Pete the Cat and along with Litwin gave the Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons song even more life.

The event was made possible by the OPE PTO.
