Jim Monroe Powell Jr. of Greer, S.C. died Feb. 2.

Surviving are his wife, Eva Catherine Purser Powell of the home; sons, Jim Monroe Powell III of the home and Scotty Lee Powell of Landrum; stepchildren, Donnie Guy of Lyman, S.C. and Beverly Kaye Johnson of Chesnee, S.C.; and five grandchildren.

Services were Feb. 5 at the Wood Mortuary.
