Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry (“Outreach”) recently was awarded a Board Initiative grant from the Polk County Community Foundation.
Funds from this grant will be used to provide heating assistance during the winter of 2014 for residents of Polk County.
“We are extremely grateful to the Polk County Community Foundation for stepping in to fill this need and for allowing us to provide much needed assistance for families who would not otherwise be able to afford the high cost to heat their homes,” said Carol Newton, Executive Director of Outreach.
Outreach is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1991.
The organization’s mission is to provide compassionate assistance to Polk County residents who are unable to provide for their basic life needs.
