This Saturday, Dec. 7, Holy Cross Episcopal Church and the Tryon Running Club are offering a training run of the upcoming Race To The Head Of The Class course.

It will begin at 9 a.m. but runners are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early.

There will be different paces run by experienced runners.

It’s a great way to learn the course and pick up some race tips. There is no charge.

The Race To The Head Of The Class is being held to raise scholarship money for all local students at both Polk and Landrum High Schools.

Students do not need to attend Holy Cross to apply.

There will be a 5K and 10K run plus a fun 1K run/walk. Please register for any of the events and help us raise money for our local area youth.
