The Polk County Veterans monthly meeting on Dec. 3 will include a talk on “Acupuncture – the Basics and How It Works.”

Cynthia Milligan of To the Point Healthcare will present a talk to the veterans and family members on acupuncture and how it can help with the day-to-day challenges veterans are facing.

Milligan is going to be offering auricular acupuncture to veterans on a weekly basis starting in December.

The meeting will be held on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Tryon.
