Norman Keith Newell, 79, of Columbus passed away Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013 at his home.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, he was the son of the late Lionel Hall Newell and Mabel Newell. Mr. Newell moved to Columbus in 1985 from Hendersonville. He was a land developer for many years.
Mr. Newell is survived by three daughters: Lucinda Newell and Michelle Newell of Portland, Ore., and Colleen Wyatt of Hendersonville, N.C.; one son: Graeme Newell of Raleigh, N.C.; two sisters: Marian Washell of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Sheila Kulka of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Also surviving are son-in-law Brian Wyatt and daughter-in-law Annette Newell, as well as four grandchildren: Jase Springer, Austin Springer, Harrison Wyatt and Louise Wyatt Lewis; and one great-grandchild: Rahzelle Lewis.
At Mr. Newell’s request, there will be no services.
