Polk district court results

In Polk County District Court held Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013 with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 225 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court. The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Victoria Odell Angel was convicted of careless and reckless driving. Angel was fined $91 and court costs.
Melissa Abigail Batson was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Batson was fined $50 and court costs.
Emilio Trejo Caballero was convicted of no operator’s license. Caballero was fined $50 and court costs.
Katherine Mari Carroll was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Carroll was fined $50 and court costs.
Marilyn Debora Collins was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Collins was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.
Louis Martin Cundiff was convicted of driving while license revoked. Cundiff was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $150 fine and court costs.
Chad William Dmitri was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Dmitri was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Estella Mariea Elias was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Elias was fined $150 and court costs.
Estella Mariea Elias was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Elias was fined $200 and court costs.
Alfred Kirk Foster was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia and no operator’s license. Foster was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for time served.
Adam G. Garrett was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Garrett was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Nancy Marie Googe was convicted of felony possession of marijuana. Googe was sentenced to two years supervised probation and court costs.
Michael Scott Helton was convicted of two counts of simple possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Helton was sentenced to seven days in jail with credit for time served.
Jeramy Adam Hensley was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Hensley was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Ellen Michelle Holland was convicted of driving while license revoked. Holland was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Clifton West Justice was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor and misdemeanor larceny. Justice was sentenced to 14 days in jail with credit for time served.
Aaron Travis Mauldin was convicted of simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance. Mauldin was sentenced to 20 days in jail and court costs.
Grant Logan Paris was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Paris was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.
Roshy Rajan was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Rajan was fined $150 and court costs.
Ernest Davon Robbs was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Robbs was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Matthew Neal Rutledge was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Rutledge was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
William Richard Werhan was convicted of assault on a female and communicating threats. Werhan was sentenced to 10 days in jail and court costs.
