Frederick Schwebel

Born in Gibbstown, N.J., he was the son of the late Charles and Anna Price Schwebel. He was a Veteran of WWII, having served in the Pacific Theatre as an Army Anti-Aircraft Gunner. Schwebel&bsp; moved to Polk County in December of 2007 coming from West Deptford Township, N.J. He was a member of the Salem Co., N.J., VFW and was of the Protestant faith.

Surviving are four daughters, Faye Thies of Sewell, N.J.; Chaz Williams of Landrum; Elizabeth Quattlebaum of Tryon, and Elaine Brooks of Pilesgrove Township, N.J.; and a sister, Frances Wright of St. Cloud, Fla. Also surviving are three granddaughters, six grandsons, three great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Faith Waddington and two brothers, Harold and Clarence Schwebel.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date in the Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, N.J.
