On March 20 Coach Sam Cole was chosen as the District 2 SCBOA (South Carolina Basketball Officials Association) Middle School Coach of the Year for 2013.  Coach Cole serves as a basketball and football coach and athletic director at Campobello Gramling School.

Coach Cole stated, “I am extremely humbled and honored to receive this award, especially since one of the former recipients was Dr. Ron Garner [Superintendent, District One].”

Cole was honored at a ceremony in Spartanburg.
