Juanita Lively

Mrs. Lively was born in Landrum on April 3, 1931, the daughter of the late William and Mamie Dockery Tucker. She was the wife of Herbert Lively for the last nine years. She retired from BiLo and had worked for several years at Inman Mills. She was a member of Valley Falls First Baptist Church, where she was a devoted and active member of her Sunday school class.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Johnny Anderson of Inman, Jimmy Anderson of Campobello, and Kathy Anderson of the home; three stepchildren, Anne Gault of Pauline, John Lively of Inman, Dan Lively of Greenville; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Thelma Metcalf and Annie Mae Rogers of Inman; brother, John D. Tucker of Nassua, N.H.; brother-in-law, James Hines of North Charleston, S.C.; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Hugh and Linda Cannon of Wellford. She was predeceased by a son, Tony Anderson; a brother Charles Tucker; and sister, Margaret Hines; and a step-son Ed Lively.
Funeral services were held at Seawright Funeral Home on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, conducted by Rev. John Lancaster, Rev. Donnan Lawson and Rev. Tom Brown. Burial followed in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
