Tryon Christmas
Published 9:10 am Monday, December 17, 2012
I hear Bells ringing
In a tiny town,
I feel the excitement
In every Christmas choir gown.
I see smiling faces
At a Christmas parade,
And smell gingerbread baking
At a shop on North Trade.
I sense the joy
Busy shoppers peruse,
To buy just that perfect gift
Or maybe a few?
It’s time for Christmas,
With it’s Holy hush to inspire
It’s time to warm hands
By a crackling fire.
It’s time to send cards
To dear and precious friends,
YES, it’s Christmas in Tryon
This year – once again!
