After Hours events a success

Since joining the Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce a couple of years ago I have been attending their Business After Hours events.
These events are meant to provide chamber members with an opportunity to network with other members, meet new business contacts and share ideas.
The Carolina Foothills Chamber does many things for our business community, from ribbon cuttings for new businesses, business seminars and training on a variety of pertinent issues, promoting our area to visitors with events such as the Blue Ridge BBQ & Music festival, which brings thousands of visitors to our area. The list goes on and on and all to help promote our area and enhance the quality of life in our community. In their efforts to help businesses connect with one another the Carolina Foothills Chamber after hours is a smashing success.
Their events have the best attendance I have seen anywhere. It’s almost like a “build it and they will come” scenario. It’s amazing to see how well-attended these events are every time. And truth be told I think a lot of the credit goes to Janet Sciacca, the chamber’s executive director.
Janet’s enthusiasm and positive can-do attitude is contagious. Prior, during and after these events Janet is constantly working to bring business people together. If attendance at the after hours is the measure of success, Janet gets an A+.
