Performers at this year&squo;s event will include Genesis of Tryon, Dena Palmer-Brice of Charlotte, Purpose of Forest City, St. John Mass Choir of Rutherfordton, Kings of Joy of Forest City, Green Creek Male Choir of Tryon, Kiyon Staley of Rutherfordton, Changed of Inman, S.C., Brianna Briggs of Spartanburg, S.C., The Taylor Family of Simpsonville, S.C. and The Golden Trumpets of Forest City.

This is the second year for this event, and since last year was very successful, there were numerous calls for organizers to apply for a grant from Unity in the Community to support the event for 2009. The Unity in the Community organization is a collaboration of area churches, with the goal to improve the quality of life for the people of Polk and surrounding counties, and to provide safe, clean activities for all ages and walks of life. The Polk County community has been instrumental in making this possible.
