A golf tournament benefiting Shriner&39;s Hospital for Children in Greenville, S.C., will be held this Saturday at the Lake Lure Municipal Golf Course, beginning at 9 a.m. Anyone who is interested in participating can call the golf course at 828-625-4472 or show up on the morning of the event. Prizes will be awarded to winners in the four-man captain&39;s choice event. All funds raised benefit the hospital. The children&39;s orthopedic hospital is reportedly one of five hospitals the Shriners organizations is considering closing this year due to budget problems. Jennifer McCraw says at least three families in Polk County have children receiving care at the Greenville hospital.
