The Saluda Center presents Dorrie McKinley and Ray Pague in the June exhibit, “Recent Work.”

Dorrie Vivien McKinley is a self-taught, Atlanta-born artist. McKinley moved to Saluda two years ago and works at the Saluda Grade Café, where she sells her recent works.

Ray Pague has lived in Saluda for nearly five years with his studio being in the Old Chicken House, one mile up from Greenville St. Pague says he enjoys plein air painting around the mountains. He also teaches private and group lessons at the Old Chicken House.

The exhibit will be open during the center’s regular weekday hours from June 1 – 30 and all are invited to a reception honoring these two Saluda resident painters on Thursday, June 16 from 5 – 6:30 p.m. at the Saluda Center, 64 Greenville Street in Saluda.

McKinley and Pague have offered a portion of the proceeds from the sale of work during the exhibit to the Saluda Center for assistance in funding ongoing programs for “Seniors and those who will be Seniors.”
